Gig

Project 52, Week 35 24th - 30th Nov

The Veils gig is actually the first gig I watched in Melbourne. They are awesome and very glad that I managed to catch their last show here in Melbourne.

It's so odd to sometimes see the artist in person when most of the time we feel connected to them is actually through iPod or something similar.

Finn Andrews. So full ofpassion.
(tell me, this an awesome picture)

one of the best songs from The Veils new album, Sun Gangs.

gloom

1. What man has assurance enough to pretend to know thoroughly the riddle of a woman's mind? -cervantes (from The First Sex )

I sorta can't find the book in the messy room now. However, can men or women really exist without one or another? There's a reason why Eve took a bite, I guess.

2. I'm getting less addicted to Twitter.

3. I can't stop listening to Yeah Yeah Yeahs or Empire of the Sun or any music actually.

4. The weather's today remind me of Malaysia, gloomy and rainy.

5. I can't believe I'm wasting 4 months of my life right now.

Certain beauty will always be appreciated,

while some will only be taken granted of,

Father

I stumble upon this site, www.dayswithmyfather.com a couple of weeks ago.

It's so raw, so real of what between Philip Toledano and his father that I couldn't find a word to describe it.

And sometimes, as I'm growing older, there is this another fear of unknown too.

Camberwell

Project 52, Week 33 10th - 16th Nov

Bought a book from Camberwell Market.

Titled The First Sex
nope it's not a tantric sex book for first timer but rather about woman as sex and gender as a whole.

Let's see how this add on to my feminism side.

Quote.

Quote of the day.

Find yourself a man that watch you fall asleep.

How significant is that again?

Summer

When you are buried within so many faces, which one can you see the clearest? Summer is here right? Well perhaps the bright, cheery and summer-ness might help. Even if I miss the stinging cold nostalgic feel from winter that blind us a little sometimes.

Project 52, Week 32 3rd - 9th Nov

With many other faces.

quiet.

Project 52, Week 31 27th Oct - 2nd Nov

He left his notes lying around.

Investment? What's Investment? The only Investment I know is on clothes, shoes and bag. haha.

It's quite funny when everyone is in this crazy exam spur and here I am floating around forgetting time and day (I'm not rubbing it in!). When you have so much time and the only human contact I can get from is Twitter, you can't help thinking more.

thinking about if I ever do something like Investment or something entirely different, where will I be?
thinking about tomorrow, if tomorrow did ever come.
thinking about next year. how certain and uncertain it is.
thinking about results. does it measure up to the money and time.
thinking about people, those around and those that are not.
oh and thinking what to eat for dinner.

dreams

Do you know the feeling of chill running down your bone?

I got it this morning when I flipped over and told him about my dream. Vague as it is. I dreamt that he is gone. dead. What he said next wasn't quite what I expect. He dreamt of something too. of me. gone. dead.

Coincidence perhaps?

I googled for the dream interpreter, interesting explanations but still. It can't exactly be generic enough to signified the same thing for everyone.

Dreams will always be a mystery.
